Bridge Acupuncture and Penn Medicine-Doylestown partner to care for cancer patients

Cancer Center Integrative Care Fund now offers payment vouchers for referred cancer patients to receive acupuncture

We are proud to announce our new collaboration with Doylestown Hospital-Penn Medicine's Cancer Center!

The Cancer Center's Integrative Fund is now covering voucher plans for their patients to receive acupuncture at Bridge for disorders such as peripheral neuropathy, nausea, pain, fatigue, insomnia, dry mouth, loss of taste, stress and anxiety, and more. Patients who are approved by the Cancer Center for a treatment plan can receive a course of acupuncture at no out-of-pocket cost.

This new program recognizes the role acupuncture can play as a valuable evidence-based treatment option. Current or recent patients at Doylestown Health who are interested in receiving approval for an acupuncture treatment plan are encouraged to contact the Cancer Center's survivorship program for more information.

The program is already underway, expanding access to integrative care to our community. We have seen time and again the value acupuncture can provide as integrative support for patients undergoing cancer treatment, and as a bridge for survivors to recover their vitality. We are honored and proud to participate in this wonderful partnership!

Make a gift to the Integrative Fund

This program is available due to the generosity of donors who wished to provide access to evidence-based integrative care options like acupuncture. If you are interested in making a tax-deductible donation to the Doylestown Cancer Center's Integrative Fund, please contact Emily Tome, Major Gift Officer at Doylestown Health, at ETome@dh.org or 215-345-2171.
