Community Acupuncture

Discover the transformative power of Community Acupuncture.

To supplement our primary offerings we are proud to offer highly affordable, sliding-scale group acupuncture for stress, pain, balanced function and overall well-being. In this style, patients are treated in a shared room while resting in comfortable reclining chairs.

Sometimes less is more. The minimalistic sessions in our beautiful Community room create an unexpectedly personal atmosphere of healing, and are wonderfully relaxing.

Our results speak for themselves -- Community Acupuncture patients become faithful fans of Eastern medicine to the same degree as our private patients. We look forward to making this medicine a part of your life.

  • In a Community session, the acupuncturist makes an assessment based on the patient's medical history, current symptoms, pulse and tongue diagnosis, and then administers a treatment using easily accessible points on the arms, legs, head and ear.

While resting with needles, patients often feel deeply relaxed and may even fall asleep. Sessions last typically about 30 minutes.

  • Community Acupuncture offers a valuable healing approach for many conditions including pain, allergies, stress and anxiety, inflammation, digestive issues and hormonal balance. Acupuncture acts by balancing the nervous system, boosting endorphins, gating pain, and improving the healthy functioning of the body. In this way, benefits can be experienced for diverse health concerns.

For chronic, complex cases, we recommend standard private acupuncture sessions with our team, which allow more time for detailed evaluation and advanced treatment options.

Unsure about your case? Just get in touch.

  • Treatment frequency and consistent follow-ups will improve your results. At your first session your practitioner will make a recommendation based on your specific goals and health condition.

Our hope is that with this offering, anyone can afford to make regular acupuncture treatment part of a healthy lifestyle.

  • We offer a sliding scale of $30-$60 per session. You decide what you can afford to pay, no questions asked. There is an additional $15 paperwork fee for patients new to our practice.

  • Currently, on the first and third Friday of the month, from 3:30-7pm. We may expand hours based on patient demand!
